DONATIONS FOR COACH JACOBS
The Marcus High School community is coming together for one of its own.
Students, as well as friends and family of Marcus junior varsity softball coach and freshman volleyball coach Brenda Jacobs, have set up a fund for the family after they lost their home to a fire Friday morning. Everything was destroyed, but everyone escaped the fire safely.
A fund has been set up at Chase Bank under the name of Brenda and Dan Jacobs. Checks and donations will also be accepted by softball booster club member Lauren Beardsley.
LET'S SHOW OUR MARCUS SUPPORT FOR COACH JACOBS!!!

SWINE FLU - PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES
We want our volleyball players to stay healthy! As with most airborne illnesses and influenza diseases, prevention is always the best suggestion. Here are some prevention guidelines as recommended by the Center for Disease Control:
- Wash your hands as frequently as possible with soap and water or hand sanitizer.
- Refrain from using public water fountains and team water bottles. Each athlete should carry their own hydration bottle with their name marked on it.
- Cover your mouth and nose when sneezing or coughing. Sanitize afterwards.
- Wash and sanitize uniforms and equipment as often as possible.
- Please stay at home if you or your child is showing flu-like symptoms.
Be careful, and stay healthy!
